Dr. Daniel Parenti joined the faculty of PCOM in 1995. Prior to his tenure here, he was an attending physician for pulmonary diseases, critical care and internal medicine at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, and The West Jersey Health Care System. From 1992 to 1993 he was Co-Chief Fellow in Critical Care Medicine with the Kennedy Memorial Hospitals of Stratford, NJ. He has lectured extensively on pulmonary ailments including chronic cough, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and community-acquired pneumonia.

Education

Dr. Parenti received his D.O. from PCOM in 1987. He completed his internal medicine residency, pulmonary and critical care fellowships at The University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is certified in internal medicine, pulmonary, and critical care medicine.

Pulmonary Medicine for first year D.O. students.
Pulmonary Medicine for physicians' assistant program.
Transitional Rotation Block for third year D.O. students.

Awards

Dr. Parenti has been recognized with several awards, including the Dean's Appreciation Award for Dedication to Medical Education given by PCOM in 1998 and 2001 and the Teacher of the Year Award from the Family Practice Department of Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in 1994.
