Dr. Samuel completed her undergraduate coursework at the University of Texas in Arlington
and then received her doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Houston. After
completing her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency from Baylor Scott & White Health,
she continued working there as an internal medicine clinical pharmacist for two years.
Prior to joining PCOM, she worked as the clinical pharmacist at Wellstar North Fulton
Hospital in Roswell, Ga. and at Northside Cherokee in Canton, Ga.
During her professional career, Dr. Samuel has worked in various multi-disciplinary
settings including intensive care, telemetry, general medicine/surgical, transplant,
stroke, and gastrointestinal units. In addition to her inpatient experience, Dr. Samuel
managed a resident-run anti-coagulation clinic with a focus on warfarin patients at
Baylor Scott & White Health. She also has served as a primary preceptor for pharmacy
students from several pharmacy schools in Texas and Georgia.
Her areas of interest include infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship.
