SHANTIA WARREN, DPT
Adjunct Professor
Dr. Shantia Warren earned a bachelor of science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology
in 2002 from Emory University. She continued to pursue her goals earning a doctorate
in Physical Therapy from North Georgia University (in consortium with Medical College
of Georgia) in 2009. Dr. Warren offers a diversity of knowledge due to her experience
in various healthcare settings across the United States including Georgia, Florida,
California, and D.C. During her fourteen years of service to physical therapy clients,
she has specialized in outpatient therapy, aquatic therapy, acute care/ICU, inpatient
rehab, and skilled nursing facilities. She also recently earned her certification
in the Casley-Smith method of Complex Lymphatic Therapy.
In 2021, she accepted a position as adjunct professor at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine. Dr. Warren currently educates second-year physical therapy students on therapeutic
interventions they will apply during their clinical rotations and as future physical
therapists.
