SHAWNE MURRAY, DO
Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
Dr. Shawne Murray spent 18 years as a general practitioner doing primarily nutritional
functional medicine, somatic-emotional release and osteopathic manual medicine. She
became a board certified OMM-NMM specialist in 2006 and ran a principled osteopathic
practice in Atlanta, Georgia for 10 years.
Dr. Murray has taught at PCOM Georgia for eight years. Her primary focus is on restoring
health, reducing stress through osteopathy and body-heart-soul facilitation. According
to Dr. Murray, she enjoys sharing biodynamic osteopathy mixed with "listening" through
the heart skills. She also teaches in an ancillary course titled "Living Health, Embracing
Your Sacred Heart through Osteopathy and Beyond."
