PCOM Student Emergency Funding
PCOM offers emergency funding for students who are experiencing emergencies or financial
hardships. These funds are used to provide support to medical and graduate students.
PCOM Student Emergency Fund
The PCOM Student Emergency Fund was established in 2020 by alumni, employees and the
Alumni Association of PCOM in response to the financial hardship endured by some students
during the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund continues to receive donations and is used
to provide emergency support to students as it relates to their education. Applicable
students can be enrolled at any of the PCOM campus location or within any of our academic
programs.
OIS Endowed Student Emergency Fund
The OIS Endowed Student Emergency Fund was established in 2022 by the Osteopathic
Institute of the South (OIS). Funds generated annually will help students who have
had their education, training and lives impacted by unforeseen incidents. Funding
will be distributed for the most basic needs including food and nutritional essentials,
housing, or health care. Funds may also support course materials, technology and emergency
travel expenses. Applicable students must be enrolled at PCOM Georgia or PCOM South
Georgia at the time of application and award distribution.
