What job(s) can I get with a master's degree in applied behavior analysis?
Does this program have coursework verified by the ABAI?
The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has verified the 7-course
sequence within the program toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to
take the BCBA or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®) examination.
Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible
to take the examination.
What is the difference between the MS in ABA degree and the ABA certificate program?
Are any of the courses offered online?
More than 50 percent of the coursework is offered online with the remaining 50 percent
offered in person. Online programming is a mixture of hybrid (live discussion components
with instructor and classmates) and asynchronous content.
How long does it take to complete the ABA master’s program?
The master's program can be completed in accelerated and part-time options over four
to eight trimesters (terms) and requires 36 credits.
Are students able to attend part-time?
Yes. The program has accelerated and part-time options.
How much does the program cost?
Will I be able to work part- or full-time as a student in the ABA program?
The accelerated course sequence is intensive which would make it difficult to work
full-time, however, all classes are offered in the evening and many students successfully
complete the program on a part-time schedule while working full-time.
Does the ABA degree program require fieldwork experiences?
Yes, the ABA degree program has practicum coursework built in that would enable students
to complete some (or all) of the supervised fieldwork hours required for the BCBA

Will PCOM assist me in identifying and securing either my practica and/or internship
placements?
In most cases, students will be placed in practica experience sites affiliated with
PCOM and local to campus. Students may also receive assistance from our Professional
and Career Development Program run by the Office of Student Affairs.
