Online Forensic Medicine Pathway Preparatory Course
PCOM's online Forensic Medicine Pathway is designed to prepare non-science majors
who are interested in forensic medicine and who possess a bachelor's degree in a forensic-related
field to enter the Master of Science in Forensic Medicine program.

The online Forensic Medicine Pathway is a summer course covering general biology,
human anatomy and physiology. Upon successful completion of the online Pathway, students
will enter the Master of Science (MS) in Forensic Medicine program beginning the fall semester immediately following.
The online Forensic Medicine Pathway is a preparatory course only—neither a forensic
medicine degree nor a certificate is awarded upon completion of the Pathway.
Typically, our enrolled Forensic Medicine Pathway students have professional backgrounds
or undergraduate majors in:
- Anthropology
- Business
- Criminal justice and criminology
- Education
- Law practice and law enforcement
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Sociology
