Searchable Database

Browse numerous external scholarship opportunities for students seeking doctoral, professional and graduate degrees.

Medical societies, cultural associations, nonprofit organizations, private companies and other community groups throughout the United States offer scholarship awards for medical and graduate students. Our office maintains this external scholarship database to help students at PCOM, PCOM Georgia and PCOM South Georgia apply for extra funding for their advanced degrees. This database includes various scholarships and awards in addition to forgivable and interest free loan programs.

Advice for applying for external scholarships

Visit the scholarship webpages and carefully review the eligibility criteria and application requirements for each award. Some scholarships may require you to address certain topics with written essays or video submissions. Browse organization websites to read previous winners' essay submissions for inspiration and ideas.

Demonstrating financial need

Many scholarships list financial need as criteria and will ask for you to submit a student aid report from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Visit our how to apply content to learn how to complete the FAFSA. The PCOM Financial Aid Office is happy to assist students with FAFSA questions or other scholarship application help.

Academic verifications

Nearly all graduate and medical scholarship applications for graduate and medical students will require academic validation from the College. The Registrar Office routinely assists students with verification requests as they apply for external scholarships. Current students can request transcripts and enrollment verifications via email from the PCOM Registrar Office.

PCOM institutional scholarships

PCOM offers various institutional scholarships for new and returning students at our Pennsylvania and Georgia locations.

External scholarship searches

Students can also use recommended third-party scholarship search sites to find additional funding opportunities for medical, professional and graduate degrees.

This information was collected to help students with their search for third-party scholarships. PCOM is not the source of these funds. PCOM does not guarantee these organizations will continue to fund the scholarship in the future. Questions and inquiries for these scholarships should be directed to the organization.

We recommend viewing this database on a laptop or desktop computer as there will be more search and filtering options available.
