Department of Clinical Psychology
School of Professional and Applied Psychology
The Department of Clinical Psychology is dedicated to training clinical psychologists
in the practitioner-scholar model at the doctoral level.
Our students are trained to work in a variety of clinical and professional settings
with a focus on cognitive behavioral approaches, empirically based assessments and
treatments, consultation, interprofessional collaboration, advocacy, individual and
cultural diversity, and serving the underserved. The Department houses the APA-accredited
PsyD in Clinical Psychology program as well as the online Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program.
At PCOM, clinical psychology graduate students focus on understanding the whole person
in a manner that is consistent with the osteopathic philosophy of the university.
Our faculty includes highly credentialed and respected practitioners and scholars
in the specialty of clinical psychology who mentor students and provide a collaborative
learning environment.
Accreditation
